This caramel colored Kendama is made of padauk wood; a rich orange wood that turns progressively darker as you play and infuse your essence into it. We have paired this Kaizen shaped ken with a silk painted Tama to maximize the grip and playability. Satisfy your sweet tooth with this creamy caramel.
Dense Padauk Wood
Updated Ken Shape
Widened Tama Bevel
Refined Silk Paint
Diminished Spike Settling
The Kaizen Kendama features a 3 piece construction with traditional Japanese style handle assembly. The shape of the Ken has been updated for precision balance, and the tama bevel has been widened for enhanced play. The starting spike length has been intentionally set shorter out of the box. This allows the sarado to settle over time, eventually bringing the spike into an ideal length after a few sessions without going past the "point of no return."
Notable features include:
Durable, low friction, beveled handle design
The Ken is thicker towards middle, improving balance and weight distribution for technical tricks
Can be easily re-strung without taking the handle apart to accommodate left and right-handed players
String features high-quality weave with greater flex and strength
Contemporary sarado (crosspiece) design does not separate from Ken as in traditional designs
Each Kendama arrives in pro packaging with an instruction manual, free stickers, and a replacement string/bead packed in. You'll get as many hours of quality play from The Keizen as went into making it a timeless experience worthy of the professional player.
